So, some of you have probably heard, I’ve launched a brand! Zamani.

As cliché as this may sound, it’s always been one of my goals/dreams to have my own fragrance brand.

It wasnt something I vocalised much, but I remember sitting in my dessert shop, sketching bottle designs and brainstorming names. crazy to think, 5-6 years later, I’ve done it.

It’s only been a few weeks since we launched (soft launch), and honestly, the response has been mad. We’re planning a massive launch party sometime in the new year.

Something I really wanted to focus on while building Zamani is not to get lost in the noise. Don’t follow trends if they don’t make sense; stay true to our values as Muslims.

Having a product-based business is so different to what I’ve been used to. but im enjoying it.

I’m planning to talk about the journey on this site, also on my socials, but I’m going to share a lot more on my podcast, Minted Minds. I’ve decided to do one podcast episode a month called jam sessions. It’s going to be a lot more chilled, Shaf will be joining me, and we’ll be talking about anything and everything. including our journey building Zamani. So make sure you subscribe!
